Former SLEEP Members Launch New Band

Former SLEEP members Al Cisneros (bass/vocals) and Chris Haikus (drums) have formed a brand-new two-piece band called OM, according to StonerRock.com. "The hallmarks of OM are mondo drums with the greatest sonic bass waves this side of the giant black hole drone found in our galaxy," according to a posting on the site. "The grooves are heavy and will row in your mind like the eternal ocean waves hitting the shore."

OM will make their live debut this summer in Northern California. A full-length CD will be recorded later this year for a tentative early 2005 release.
